Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says his goal for Udinese in Sunday’s 5-2 over Livorno is a consolation for him and his teammates after enduring difficult season.
Udinese has had a patchy run and for the first time in four seasons will not earn a spot to play in Europe next season.
Les Zebrettes are now 13th on the Serie A table and Badu wants to dedicate his fourth goal of the season to his teammates
“It’s been a very difficult season and this goal comes a real consolation for me personally, and also my team mates, Badu is quoted by AllSports Ghana.
“We have been playing very well in all our matches, but things haven’t worked out the way we expected but all the same this game showed we still have the character to go all out to win matches.
‘I am sure next season will bring good fortunes to Udinese."
Badu has made 27 appearances in the Serie A this season.
