Adam Kwarasey's return to Stromsgodset proved worthwhile as he helped them share the spoils with Rosenborg in a 1-1 stalemate in the Norwegian Eliteserien on Saturday evening.

The 26-year-old manned the posts for the entire regulation period of the game at the Marienlyst Stadion in Drammen as Stromsgodset managed a draw to remain second on the section and stay five points within leaders Molde.

Though Danish attacker Nicki Bille Nielsen managed to force a shot into Kwarasey's net in the 57th minute but his timely saves proved crucial for his side.

The Ghana FA says it agreed to allow goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey to return to Stromsgodset as a gesture to strengthen its relationship with the club.

Kwarasey is expected to rejoin his international team-mates in Amsterdam as they prepare to face the Netherlands in pre-World Cup warm-up friendly.
