Ghana defender Harrison Afful won his fourth Tunisian Ligue 1 title in five seasons as his side Esperance were installed champions on Sunday with two matches to spare.
The Blood and Gold opened an 11-point lead after Stade Tunisien held challengers CS Sfaxien to a 1-1 draw.
The versatile player played the entire duration in the 1-0 win over Union Sportive Monastirienne at home.
Afful joined Esperance in 2010 and won three titles in a row before CS Sfaxien toppled them last season.
Esperance will play CS Sportif de Hammam-Lif on Thursday and play their last match of the season on 14 May against Avenir Sportif de la Marsa.
