Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah top priority is to see how his team is shaping up and wonââ¬â¢t be bothered by the outcome of Mondayââ¬â¢s international friendly against South Korea.
The two sides clash in Miami Monday night to firm up preparations ahead of the start of the World Cup on June 12.
Ghana lost their first pre-World Cup friendly against the Netherlands last week Saturday and will be keen to bounce back against their North African opponent.
Coach Appiah says heââ¬â¢s not concerned about the results but only focusing on testing players and systems.
ââ¬ÅFriendly games are good to help you prepare. Psychologically, itââ¬â¢s good to win to boost your confidence levels," Appiah told reporters at the pre-match press conference.
ââ¬ÅOn the other side, I am looking at tactically how we will play, and the individual roles assigned to the players.
ââ¬ÅScorelines are always good, but most of the times it depends on the team that you put up. For instance if that is your best team, then you think they should give you results.
ââ¬ÅBut if it is a team you are trying to assess, then you look at it from a different angle.ââ¬
The Black Stars will open their group G account with a tricky tie against USA next Monday before they take on Germany and Portugal in subsequent matches.
