Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has arrived to join the Black Stars’ opening preparations towards the 2014 World Cup.

The 23-year-old touched down in Accra on Monday night having featured for Udinese in their last match of the season against Sampdoria on Saturday.

Badu’s arrival further swells up the numbers of foreign-based players in town to commence the non-residential camping of the Black Stars on Tuesday.

Italy-based Afriyie Acquah is also expected in town tonight to join his international teammates.

Samuel Inkoom, Jerry Akaminko, Rashid Sumaila, Abdul Majeed Waris, Harrison Afful, Rabiu Mohammed and captain Asamoah Gyan are already in the country.

Coach Kwesi Appiah will be leading his team out on Tuesday to begin training for the World Cup.

The squad will them play in a farewell game on Friday before leaving to the Netherlands to intensify their preparations on Saturday.
