Ghana striker David Accam is confident his fine scoring form for Helsingborg could help him earn a place in the country’s 2014 World Cup squad.

The 23-year-old was at his lethal best for the Swedish side as he rattled in the match-winner for the Reds in their 3-2 win over BK Hacken on Sunday night.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate feels his performance will catch the eye of Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah ahead of the global piece.

“Yes, no doubt about it (referring to the World Cup). The Ghanaian national team management follows me in every game,” he said

"You just have to continue to deliver and then you leave the rest to the coach.”

Accam has been in terrific scoring form since the start of the Swedish season, scoring 5 goals in the Swedish FA Cup.
