Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan says the Black Stars are capable of beating any team having gained enormous belief following their thrilling 2-2 draw with Germany.

The Black Stars excited the world with their skillful display against the European giants and were only unlucky not to have clinched all three points in their second group game at the 2014 World Cup.

Ghana rallied from a goal down to race into a 2-1 lead but lack of concentration saw the Black Stars concede late on to end the game in a draw.

The team have received rave reviews over their performance since and look to even improve in their final group game against Portugal on Thursday where they stand a chance of progressing further in the competition.

Skipper Asmaoah Gyan now says his team have gained the mentality needed to deal with any opposition having emerged the best side in the thrilling draw with Germany.

“We now believe we can beat anybody because how the game [against Germany] went, it was anyone's game,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The Ghana team have since left their team base in Maceio for Brasilia where they will be facing Portugal in a must win game on Thursday.
