Ghana international winger Wakaso Mubarak scored the opener for Rubin Kazan' in their smooth 4-0 trouncing of Krylya Sovetov Samara in the Russian Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The 23-year-old fired the Tatars in front as early as the 22nd minute and contributed enormously to the victory until he was replaced in the 75th minute by Kamil Mullin.

Going into the game, Kazan were keen to improve their standing on the chart set with the season set to wind down and needed victory and took to their words by thrashing the host with little challenge.

The former Espanyol winger hit home a trademark finish to establish Kazan' lead before second-half goals from Mogilevets and Azmoun sealed the victory.

The strike has taken his season's tally to just 2 in 13 games. He started just his 7th game of the season for the Russian side.
