Chief Executive of newly promoted B.A Stars Takyi Arhin has alleged that heads of the Regional Football Associations have been bribed to vote for a proposed league expansion this term.
The outspoken football administrator claims an amount of 1,000 Ghana cedis each (US$ 700) has been paid to the RFA chairmen to influence the outcome of voting during next month’s congress.
Arhin suggests the move is to re-instate last season’s relegated clubs-Eleven Wise, Hasaacas and Great Olympics-all of whom are traditional clubs.
There is a proposal to increase the number of Premier League clubs from 16 to 20 for the upcoming season which begins on 5 September.
But that has been fiercely resisted by some Premier League club chairmen and Chief Executives.
Arhin told Sunyani-based Dinpa FM: “The RFA chairmen, they made those proposals and want to bring the three relegated clubs. They have been influenced-they have been given some 1,000 Ghana cedis and vote for the motion.”
“We shall come out with the evidence when he get to congress on the 18th of this month.”
All CEOs and representatives of the elite division clubs have been notified by the Premier League Board and the FA about the expansion of the League.

I hope he experience such HATRED AND VENOM from somebody in the very near future. As they say, EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST TEACHER. He will be paid back in his own coin; made to swallow the same bitter pill. He will then know the consequences of perpetrating evil thoughts and actions. He is going to REAP what he has been SOWING.
