Striker Tanko Mohammed has warned Asante Kotoko that confidence is high among the Medeama camp.
Tha Mauves and Yellows welcome the Porcupine warriors to the Tarkwa and Aboso in the biggest match of the weekend on Sunday.
Kotoko lie 5th on the table and trail the league leaders by six points and the former Heart of Lions man insists they will not be overawed by the pedigree of the champions.
“We are very focused and ready to beat Kotoko on Sunday. We are taken the game as a normal one and won’t allow the stature of Kotoko to intimidate us,” Tanko told medeamasc.com
“I scored against Kotoko during my days at Heart of Lions on a number of occasions and so I’m not afraid of them.
“We also have quality in our team and so there is no cause for alarm.”
